Burbank 17, Alhambra 37--Junior Nicole Jimenez led Burbank (1-4) to its first win of the season in a Foothill League opener at Griffith Park. Jimenez was timed in 22:19 on the three-mile course.

Alemany 16, Louisville 44--Siobhain O’Reilly won her third consecutive race in a time of 19:56 to lead Alemany (3-0) to its third straight San Fernando Valley League victory at O’Melveney Park.

Thousand Oaks def. Camarillo, 15-9, 15-2, 15-8--Julie Chellevold had seven kills to lead Thousand Oaks (4-0, 7-0) to a Marmonte League win at Camarillo. Amy Chellevold, Julie’s sister, added six kills for Thousand Oaks.
