Police arrested seven people and seized drugs with an estimated street value of $77,000 in two raids in Anaheim, police said Friday.
The raids took place from 6 p.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday, said Fullerton Police Sgt. Jeff Roop. Police seized methamphetamines, a stimulant; $30,000 in cash; 12 rifles; six handguns; ammunition; a computer system, and video surveillance equipment, Roop said.
Roop said an undercover officer offered to buy drugs from a woman at a residence at 1806 Chelsea Drive in Anaheim. To get the drugs, the woman went to 1103 E. Vermont Ave., Roop said. The Vermont Avenue address is in a light industrial area, and the building was actually a front for an illegal drug laboratory, Roop said.
After the undercover officer bought the drugs, Anaheim and Fullerton police raided both locations.
Three men and a woman were arrested at the Chelsea Drive residence, Roop said. Three other men were arrested at the East Vermont Avenue location, he said. Names of the suspects were not released because the investigation continues, Roop said.
All were booked into the Anaheim City Jail, Roop said.
