A Tale of Two Communities
Urge the Canoga Park Chamber of Commerce and all the citizens of Canoga Park to petition for inclusion in the new community of West Hills.
Joy Picus and other City Council members will agree because then there will be no Canoga Park left that could possibly want to become West Hills. Thus, the problem will go away.
But: West Hills will then have those undesirable, commercial and industrial sections, the rundown businesses, the porno houses and other unsightly areas that tend to depreciate our property values.
The West Hills promoters will get angrier than they are now, and petition to have their section renamed Canoga Park in order to disassociate themselves from the awful West Hills section.
After Joy Picus and other City Council members agree, we will be Canoga Park again.
Then the new West Hills on the flatlands can petition to be included in the new Canoga Park because there are no hills in their section.
We will all live happily ever after in old Canoga Park.
Better yet, petition Joy Picus to change the name of the West Valley to West Canoga Hills Park. That should satisfy everybody--including residents of Woodland Hills and Hidden Hills, who after all would only be losing half a name.
Consider Canoga Park Hills--now that has real class. With a name like that, real estate values would not just rise, they would soar!
