Throw Out Throwing of Four Wide Pitches

When are the baseball teams going to stop that nonsense with a deliberate base on balls--throwing four balls wide of the plate? I would think umpires and managers should be notified and the player allowed to proceed to first base, thereby saving everyone time. Another thought: Fans should refuse to attend the balance of the (NFL) season and demand refunds for season tickets and other tickets. Of course, I’m only a fan of some 50 years.
