CINEPLEX SATIRE

Shavelson’s article on his Universal Cineplex escapade would not have happened if he’d prepared a little more. All he had to do was check the Calendar section for the hour his particular movie was being shown.
I have been attending the Cineplex every week since it opened, and the youngsters who work there have been courteous, attentive and helpful. I know they don’t get paid very much, but no amount of money would compensate me sufficiently for having to deal with unthinking and inconsiderate patrons like Shavelson.
I say inconsiderate because latecomers are most disruptive to people like myself who arrive on time for the cinema or theater.
