Colombian race driver Roberto Guerrero continued to show improvement and was listed in “good condition” at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
“Roberto Guerrero, for all practical purposes, has regained consciousness, although he remains mildly disoriented,” a hospital spokesman said. “There are times he just doesn’t know where he is.”
Guerrero, 29, was hit on the helmet by a tire that flew off when his car hit the wall during tire tests Sept. 10 at Indianapolis.
