Encore for Stanley Sheinbaum
In “The Man Who Would Be Kingmaker” (by Ronald Brownstein, June 28), we read only a few sentences regarding Sheinbaum’s involvement and impact on the ACLU, a few mere sentences regarding his Vietnam activities and some vague references to the left-of-center organizations Sheinbaum involves himself with. The work he does with the Five Continents Peace Initiative is dismissed as peripheral--and not a mention of his role in bringing down the Greek junta. That for which he is recognized as a public personality and what distinguishes him from others is missing in any detail.
