Insulin in Europe
Would like to add a footnote to the excellent Bill Hughes “The Mature Traveler” article of Sept. 13. For traveling diabetics taking NPH U100 insulin, there is none to be had in Europe. I have tried in Greece, Austria and in the London Harrods pharmacy and five stores in the Boots chain. They have never heard of it, so take along enough to last your entire trip.
