“Kitchen of Images,” described as the first film and video festival by women from Latin America and the Caribbean, starts Thursday at the National Cinematheque in Mexico City. The festival, which runs through Oct. 11, will show 60 films and 30 videos by women from Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Nicaragua, Martinique, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
