Six Hurt in High School Chemistry Lab Explosion

NEWARK, Ohio — Five students and their teacher were injured when a test tube of alcohol exploded during a high school science class Monday, school officials said. Three other students in the advanced chemistry course were sent home with shards of glass in their clothing, said Paul Gallagher, principal of Newark High School.
