Two former Olympic champions, Billy Mills and Kip Keino, will run in an 8-kilometer race on the beach at Playa del Rey Oct. 24.
Mills, 49, was the 10,000-meter gold medalist in the 1964 Olympics. Keino, 47, won gold medals at 1,500 meters and in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 1968 and 1972, respectively.
