Eastern Expands Flights: Eastern Airlines resumed some service to Atlanta and added flights from Miami to New York and South America Sunday in another effort to rebuild its schedule during a strike that has forced it to file for bankruptcy protection. Eastern virtually shut down after the International Assn. of Machinists struck the company March 4 and pilots refused to cross picket lines. Meanwhile, lawyers for Eastern and the Air Line Pilots Assn. were due to submit proposed findings of fact to a federal judge in Miami today. The company is seeking an injunction to force its pilots back to work. U.S. District Judge Edward Davis held a hearing last week to determine the facts, and lawyers expect him to report his findings this week to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.
