Spanish-language magazine editor Christina Saralegui, described as “Oprah Winfrey con salsa,” will headline a new weekday talk show starting April 17 on KMEX Channel 34. Cuban-born Saralegui also is known as the “Latin Helen Gurley Brown” because for 10 years she has been editor-in-chief of a Spanish-language version of Cosmopolitan magazine. “Christina,” as the new show is called, will be taped in Los Angeles and will be produced by Univision, the nation’s largest Spanish-language network, for airing across the country. The program will run Monday through Friday from 5-6 p.m. on KMEX.
