House Republicans Name Two Chief Deputy Whips

WASHINGTON — Reps. Robert S. Walker of Pennsylvania and Steve Gunderson of Wisconsin were appointed Wednesday as chief deputy whips for the House Republicans. They were chosen by Rep. Newt Gingrich of Georgia, the new minority whip.
