Prices Rise in Mexico

MEXICO CITY — Consumer prices rose by 0.7% over the first half of March, the chairman of a Mexican government commission on inflation said. Javier Bonilla Garcia said that increases in rents, restaurant prices and other services spurred the increase, the lowest two-week inflation rate since December.
