Malibu : Condo Project Proposed
Solar System Specialists has proposed an 85-unit condominium project for the 9.2-acre parcel east of Zumirez Drive, off Pacific Coast Highway.
The project will be considered by the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission at its April 26 meeting.
The state Department of Recreation and Parks has objected to the project on the ground that it would generate too much traffic on Pacific Coast Highway. John B. Schmill, resource ranger for the Santa Monica Mountains, has stated that any additional increase in traffic from the project may increase the number of accidents and the difficulty of gaining access to state parks in the area.
