Beckman Instruments Inc., Fullerton, has appointed Dennis Wilson to the newly established position of vice president, financial services. He will be responsible for the company’s treasury, tax and insurance management. Previously, Wilson was vice president of corporate accounting and assistant controller with SmithKline Beckman in Philadelphia. In addition, the company also named Jay Steffenhagen manager of investor relations, responsible for all interaction between investors and Beckman Instruments. Steffenhagen has been with Beckman since 1979, serving most recently as strategic market manager.
