Community College Tennis Roundup : Golden West Women Beat Rancho Santiago

Cyndy Hurzler defeated Teri Eggers, 6-1, 6-4, to lead Golden West College to a 6-3 victory over Rancho Santiago Thursday in an Orange Empire Conference women’s tennis match at Rancho Santiago.
Billy Jean McCartney and Heather Myer defeated Hurzler and Cindi Laird, 6-3, 7-6, for Rancho Santiago (7-5, 3-5).
Golden West is 6-1 in conference play.
In another Orange Empire Conference match:
Riverside 6, Fullerton 3--Tanya Johnson defeated Heide Ditmars, 6-0, 6-0, for Riverside (2-8) at Fullerton. Dolores Mercuri defeated Laura Martin, 6-0, 6-0, for Fullerton (2-7).
In Orange Empire Conference men’s tennis:
Orange Coast 9, Cypress 0--John Gabriel defeated Moses Kim, 6-3, 6-2, to lead OCC (15-2, 8-1) at Cypress.
