The Loud Kingdom

On a recent trip to Disneyland, I went to a showing of Michael Jackson’s “Captain EO” movie. A friendly female voice warned that the sound track would be at high volume. Indeed, it was ear-shattering! Later, I wandered onto a small dance floor and was almost knocked over by the sound system.
It is well known that excessive volume levels can damage hearing. There has always been a conspicuous concern for safety on Disneyland rides; I hope the Disney company will also start to regard loud sounds as hazards.
