If It’s ‘Our’ Team, Why All the Problems?
One thing I don’t understand about sports is how the fans and media take the stance of “our team.”
Why don’t players take pay cuts or owners cut ticket prices so we might enjoy “our” team more.
I’m glad I’m a sports fan, not a team fan. I enjoy the effort, the desire and the ability put forth, not the spoiled-brat attitude of “pay me first.”
Maybe they ought to pay the players after the season for what they accomplish or lower prices for bad seasons.
I’d rather be at my son’s Little League game.
