Donald, Booros Tied for Lead in Mississippi

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Mike Donald shot a five-under-par 65 Friday to tie Jim Booros for the lead at 133 after two rounds of the $200,000 PGA Deposit Guaranty golf tournament.
Booros, who led after Thursday’s opening round at the Hattiesburg Country Club course, had two birdies and his first bogey of the tournament for a 69.
Lance Ten Broeck, was third at 134 after a 65, and Rick Fehr was fourth at 135 after a 65. Six players were tied at 136.
Seventy-four players made the cut, equaling the tournament high.
