Terry Munson said Friday that he has resigned as Rancho Alamitos High School basketball coach to spend more time with his family.
“I have three kids and they have all kinds of activities going on,” said Munson, 38. “I needed to give something up.”
Munson has been Rancho Alamitos coach for the past three seasons. He had a 31-34 record, including a 12-10 mark last season.
The Vaqueros finished tied for third in the Garden Grove League and advanced to the Southern Section 3-A playoffs.
