A Sacramento man serving 17 years to life in prison for the murder of a prominent attorney was ordered to pay the victim’s widow $16.5 million in damages. Superior Court Judge Anthony DeCristoforo made the judgment in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Dorothy Bullen. George de Urioste was sentenced in January for killing George Bullen, whose wife found him dead in their home in October, 1987.
