Countywide : Planned Parenthood to Hold Teen Conference

Teen-age sexuality, drug abuse, AIDS, stress and depression will be discussed Saturday at the second annual teen-ager conference sponsored by the Planned Parenthood chapter of Orange and San Bernardino counties.
Teen-agers will relate personal experiences to their peers, said Lori Frye of Planned Parenthood. Experts will be on hand to provide information.
The conference will include Dr. Art Lange, a self-esteem expert who will be the keynote speaker; player LeRoy Irvin of the Los Angeles Rams, and the San Diego Planned Parenthood’s New Image Teen Theatre, which will perform skits.
The event is free and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Emerald of Anaheim Hotel, 1717 S. West St., Anaheim. Reservations, which must be made by Wednesday, are recommended. For information, call (714) 973-1733.
