Authorities in San Jose arrested a 17-year-old boy as a murder suspect after two people were killed in the explosion of a pipe bomb. Police Sgt. Bud Davis said the blast at a San Jose home killed an 18-year-old man and a 10-year-old girl. The teen-ager was arrested after a hospital interview, then booked for investigation of two counts of murder by means of a destructive device, Davis said.
