This 360,000-square-foot building is the first of six buildings planned for the 52-acre McDonnell Center business park in Santa Ana. It contains 225,000 square feet of office space, with the remainder of the space used for research and development, manufacturing and allied uses. The computer systems company recently consolidated its operations from several buildings in Irvine into the single facility, which is highlighted by a domed skylight and a 2-story galleria. The building has won national design awards from the National Assn. of Industrial Office Parks and the Society of American Registered Architects.
