ST. MELLION, England — Americans Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson will meet the last two U.S. Masters champions, Britons Sandy Lyle and Nick Faldo, in a transatlantic challenge golf tournament this summer.
Organizers said today that the better-ball match would take place at St. Mellion Golf Club in Cornwall July 16, just before the start of the British Open. The four players met in a similar made-for-television match at St. Mellion last year when torrential rains hit the course.
No details on prize money were available.
