Police were looking for three suspects Friday night after an 18-year-old man was shot to death at Martin Luther King Park in Southeast San Diego.
Police said the suspects were believed to be three men in a blue Toyota Celica.
Reason for the shooting, which occurred about 6 p.m. in the 6400 block of Skyline Drive, was unclear but was believed to have evolved from an argument, a Police Department spokesman said.
The victim, identified as Juan Castro, was taken by a Life Flight helicopter to Mercy Hospital, where he died. He had been shot in the head and shoulder, a spokeswoman said.
