Rasmussen Leads Wings Over Lazers

WICHITA, Kan. — Erik Rasmussen scored three goals as the Wichita Wings overpowered the Los Angeles Lazers, 6-2, Friday night to secure a berth in the Major Indoor Soccer League playoffs.
The Lazers (20-27) were eliminated from playoff contention.
Wichita (23-24) scored the first five goals of the game--two by Rasmussen, two by Dale Ervine and one by Tom Soehn.
Rasmussen scored the last goal in the fourth quarter for a hat trick.
Gary Heale finally put the Kings on the board with a goal 11:24 into the fourth quarter.
