USC Radio, Los Angeles, has named Tom Deacon of the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. vice president-programs. Judith Leventhal of WNYC Communications Group has been named vice president-finance and administration. William V. Kappelman, currently KUSC’s director of engineering and operations, will be given vice presidential authority for these areas. The three report to Wallace A. Smith, president of USC Radio.
