CCT Corp.: The manufacturer of recording heads used in computer disk drives reported a first-quarter profit of $263,000 on sales of $18.1 million, off from a profit of $446,000 on sales of $27.5 million over the same three months last year. The drop in sales was attributed by Chairman E.T. Bahre to “excess inventories and overcapacity in the data storage market.”
