Meyers Group Will Expand Listings Into Commercial Real Estate Market : REAL ESTATE

One of Southern California’s number-crunching real estate consultants has decided to expand from the housing industry into commercial real estate.
The Meyers Group in San Diego keeps track of how many new houses are built in Southern California and how they are selling. The company sells its expertise to home builders, lenders and other clients.
Now, Meyers will begin tracking offices, warehouses, stores and other types of commercial buildings.
Since the two types of real estate are so closely linked--stores and offices, for instance, tend to get built in the same areas as new housing--the firm was already tracking commercial real estate, according to company President Jeff S. Meyers.
