Andrei Khomutov had a goal and an assist as the unbeaten Soviet Union edged Canada, 4-3, for its sixth consecutive victory in the World Hockey Championships at Stockholm.
The Soviets need only a tie against defending champion Sweden Monday to finish on top of the preliminary-round standings.
