Former Olympian Anthony Hembrick of Detroit won his pro debut by stopping Ron West (1-2) of Toledo, Ohio, at 2:19 of the second round of a scheduled four-round bout at Auburn Hills, Mich.
Hembrick weighed 173 pounds.
Last September, Hembrick’s first-round Olympic opponent, Ha Jong-Ho of South Korea, was declared the winner after Hembrick showed up late for the fight.
