Seton Hall basketball Coach P.J. Carlesimo is being considered for the head coaching job at the University of Kentucky, the Record of Hackensack, N.J., reported.
Seton Hall Athletic Director Larry Keating confirmed that Kentucky received permission to negotiate with Carlesimo.
