Big Trout Planted at Irvine Lake
Irvine Lake, known for its stocked rainbow trout in the five- to 10-pound class, was planted with fish weighing between 10 and 18 pounds last Saturday.
Although none of them have been caught yet, several large rainbows were taken last weekend. And, a lake spokesman said, it was none other than Jack Fish who caught the biggest, an 8 3/4-pound trout.
