Mitek Systems, a manufacturer of laser printers and facsimile machines built to TEMPEST security standards, reported second-quarter net income of $265,000 on sales of $5.4 million, up from a net loss of $508,000 on sales of $2 million in the like quarter one year ago.
Net income for the six-month period ended March 31 was $22,000, contrasted with a net loss of $1.1 million for the like period the previous year. Sales for the two quarters were $9.4 million, about a 170% increase over sales of $3.5 million for the corresponding period the previous year.
