216,000 Hens Die in Fire

LEBANON, Conn. — A raging fire killed 216,000 hens and destroyed two 500-foot coops at an egg farm Wednesday, causing damages estimated at nearly $1 million, fire officials said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
