Kennedy Outfielder Madden to Play Baseball at Stanford

Shawn Madden, a center fielder at Kennedy High, signed a national letter of intent Wednesday with Stanford.
Madden, who is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder May 18, was batting .278 before injuring his shoulder and will not play again this season.
