Pac-10, Big West Tennis Titles Up for Grabs at Ojai

UCLA, California, Stanford and USC--four of the seven top-ranked men’s college tennis teams and all from the Pacific 10--will be competing in the Ojai Valley tennis tournament today through Sunday.
UCLA, No. 1 ranked nationally, will be trying to win the the Pac-10 championship and strengthen its position going into next month’s National Collegiate Athletic Assn. tournament in Athens, Ga.
UC Irvine, ranked No. 4 in the nation, is the favorite to win the title in the Big West Conference.
The Pac-10 women’s champion may come from such nationally ranked teams as No. 1 Stanford, No. 3 UCLA and No. 6 USC.
