Two Los Angeles men were killed early today when the motorcycle they were riding slammed into the center divider of the Hollywood Freeway.
The passenger was ejected over the guardrail into the southbound lanes of the freeway. ‘He was run over by several vehicles,” said California Highway Patrol Officer Monty Keifer. “Some of them didn’t stop. “
The accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Lankershim Boulevard in Studio City.
The driver, about 25, and his 19-year-old passenger were not identified pending notification of relatives.
Witnesses told investigators that the driver had been drinking alcohol prior to the accident.
