Was It a Day in the Sun--or an Overdone Day?

Finally, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had his day in the sun. After years of many people degrading, downplaying and dehumanizing this great man’s life and career, Abdul-Jabbar was able to put all the rumors aside that he has no emotion and passion.
It is a shame he had to power through his career with so much criticism.
