Commercial Scene : 750 Palm Desert Acres Sold for Development

Westinghouse Desert Communities Inc. has paid $22 million for 750 acres east of California 74 in Palm Desert. Spinello Realty, Malibu, represented both the buyer and the seller, Beachstone Joint Venture, Malibu, in the transaction.
Westinghouse Desert Communities plans to develop single-family lots and a golf course on the site, southwest of Ironwood Country Club.
