7 Hurt by Bomb in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, India — A bomb exploded today near the home of the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir state, Farooq Abdullah, Indian police said. Abdullah was not in the area at the time, they said.
Seven people were wounded by the blast, which went off about 30 yards from Abdullah’s residence in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
