NFL Playoffs, Gingrich and the Year Ahead

The National Football League playoffs continue this weekend with the San Francisco 49ers meeting the Green Bay Packers today at 9:30 a.m. on Fox (Channel 11) and the surprising Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Denver Broncos at 1 p.m. on NBC (Channels 4 and 36).

On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers battle the New England Patriots at 9:30 a.m. on Channel 4, followed by the Super Bowl champion Dallas Cowboys tackling the Carolina Panthers at 1 p.m. on Channel 11.

Elsewhere: Arts & Entertainment presents “The 40th Annual Pablo Casals Festival” in Puerto Rico, tonight at 7 and 11 p.m., featuring violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, composer Lukas Foss, the Prazak Quartet and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.

Stephen Bogart, the only son of the legendary actor Humphrey Bogart, hosts the TNT biography “Bogart: The Untold Story,” Sunday at 5 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and midnight. The one-hour special features clips and interviews.

Sunday’s movies include “In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory,’ at 9 p.m. on Channel 4. Bruce Campbell stars as an ex-cop who robs banks with his wife (Lori Loughlin). Bradley Whitford plays an FBI agent assigned to the case.

Jack Wagner and Alexandra Paul star in ABC’s “Echo,” airing at 9 p.m. on Channel 7. The thriller deals with a vengeful man who attempts to assume his twin brother’s identity.
