Selanne Not Keen on Role as Fill-In

Snubbed for the NHL All-Star game, Teemu Selanne said he isn’t sure he will accept if asked to fill in for an injured player.
“I’ll have to think about that,” said Selanne, the sixth-leading scorer in the NHL. “Pride, you know.”
With teammate Paul Kariya voted to the team as a starter, Selanne partly fell victim to the league’s “guaranteed-representative” rule.
