After enduring a horrible December, Loyola Marymount looks to maintain momentum for West Coast Conference play, which starts Friday. The Lions ended a seven-game drought with a 79-70 victory over Brown on Monday and finally are playing cohesively. Sophomore guard Tim Kennedy has emerged as the team’s top offensive threat, averaging 13.7 points. Santa Barbara lost to San Diego, 72-70, on Monday, its third consecutive defeat.
