Children Welcome to Sing with Chorus

Interested children are invited to register for the Ojai Valley Children’s Chorus on Thursday at the Ojai Art Center.
The chorus will sing a variety of multicultural songs over a 12-week session, culminating with a March 23 performance at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza with recording artist Perla Batalla.
No auditions are required.
Registration and rehearsal times are from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Thursdays for children in the fourth grade and below and from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Thursdays for youngsters in the fifth grade and above.
The cost is $35 per child. The art center is on South Montgomery Street.
Chorus director is Lisa Gordon, a music educator who has led numerous choruses throughout Ventura County and was founding director of the Ojai Festivals Community Outreach and Education program from 1991 to 1993.
