Quick Service

I want to start off the new year with a commendation letter rather than a complaint. People always complain about the inefficiencies of the government but I want to commend the State Department’s Passport Services office for efficiency.
I went to the passport office in the Federal Building in West Los Angeles around noon on the Friday before Thanksgiving. There were about 50 people in line ahead of me and only a few windows were open. As the lunch hour ended all of the windows opened up and the line moved quite rapidly. The clerk asked if I needed the passport rushed and I stated no. My passport arrived at my house the following Wednesday. You could not ask for better service.
People are quick to complain when things don’t work well and we should be just as quick to praise when things work well. Thank you, Passport Services.
