Antoski Practices but Won’t Play Soon

Winger Shawn Antoski practiced with his teammates for the first time since suffering a strained left hip Nov. 20 and reported no new pain.

Antoski plans to practice for the next 10 days to two weeks. He could play in a game at that point or perhaps undergo surgery.

Rookie defenseman Ruslan Salei will be sent to Baltimore of the American Hockey League for at least the next few weeks, Coach Ron Wilson said. Management believes Salei, the Ducks’ first-round draft pick last year, needs to play regularly in order to progress.
